help, can anyone tell me if there is a way of getting my coputer back to normal after it has crashed, with out paying the crazy money they want to put it right, or is it cheaper to buy a new one.

Did you not get system restore disks or a windows disk with it?

if so just do the reinstall your self, or give it to somebody else to do it, you must know somebody with a little computer knowhow! (IT department at work?)

have you been quoted silly money from a well known computer shop with the word world in their name by chance!

What exactly has happened, what have you tried, and when did you buy the pc?

ethel, the coputer is the old oblong type windows m-s. all i get up now is a black screen, updating files i to i, nothing else. cheers yukka.

chuck, the only disc i have is the original one ----n.t.l. home broadband internet installer vi.3. i have no recovery disc. cheers yukka.
