I am a biker so not criticizing but take it easy at first, if it,s wet outside don't open the throttle as you would on a 125 or you will be on the floor before you know it.
Learn about counter steering.
Just take your time getting used to the extra power and weight of the bike.
Good luck.

Thanks for the reply toureman!
I will be taking it easy, i dont yet know how different riding my new bike will be as i've only ever rode my ybr so i'll be very ginger with it for quite a while!
Even though its being restricted it will still be a hell of alot more powerful than what i'm used to.
I'm very excited but bricking it as well, i'm only really worried about dropping it but everyone keeps telling me we all drop one at some point, not very reassuring though!
Slow moving and turning from still i'm finding a bit daunting too but it will all come in time.
Thanks again.

Yes I agree, the lessons in road craft start when the test stops...
Extra training is ALWAYS best in the long run.
I used to go out at night for the first few months when I progressed up to my Bandit..
Just getting the feel of the extra weight and power, and not contending with loads of cars or buses was good experience.

Hi all
Had my fazer a few weeks now and i have to say I love it!
Taking the massive leap from my ybr 125 was'nt as bad as i thought it was going to be.
Its so much more stable and balanced than the 125.
Counter steering, well, going to take alot more practice but i'm getting there!
Had a small mishap the other day when i stalled and threw myself forward onto the tank which wasnt pleasant but it's all experiences, just thank god i'm not one of the male speices or it could have been a bit painful!!!
Thanks for all the advice guys'n'gals.
