Well, after a fairly dreadful week my two lovely gorgeous girls are really entertaining me tonight.... The big daftie has obviously been on the catnip and must be stoned cos she keeps diving at her scratching post, wins the battle and looks around for something else to defeat (meanwhile I am telling her she is a brilliantly clever girl!!!)... The wee rascal has been asleep all afternoon (!) and is now in *how much trouble can I cause* mood then looks around as if to say, watchalookinatmate.... strolls into the kitchen for some grub then back again here for a serious cuddle or three.... I suspect the fact that the sky has been releasing moisture all flipping day long has something to do with my darlings being a tad bored... They did cheer me up last night though... and were very well behaved, bless them..
You would not believe what my *eldest* cat is now doing - she is going absolutely bananas with my handbag.... lying on top of it, pulling it towards her head, crooning at it, sometimes licking it - totally bizarre.... yep, she's probably been on the catnip again...
mine are quite well behaved at the mo one is laying on the floor having a wash the other is on the back of the settee having a sleep, still very hard to get used to having just the 2 of them
Juggle...My one has been a bit neglected the past few days (ie: I haven't been home 24/7), so she has taken to sleep in the bathroom (!) on the bath mat. She only does it during the day, mind you, when she knows I'm going to pop in at regular intervals.
At night she still can be found curled up in the middle of my pillows, so that I only get 1/3 of the bed. Sigh....;O)
Sorry to hear about your hard time hun, btw. Hugs! xxx
I am up and about again thanks to a 'starving cat' - I nearly strangled him.
I buy Felix and Whiskas crunchy type sweeties and give them as treats - they don't like human food much - apart from roast beef.
Princess Merlin is totally obsessed with handbags and shoes. She isn't very delicately built and uses the scratch post strangely - she throws her body at it with some force as if she was attacking it. She has paws like boxer's gloves and regularly beats the crap out of her brother.
I am off to bed again - I might manage a few hours sleep before they want their breakfast.
You two seem lovely - of course being ladies they are more intelligent.
sorry to hear you've had a bad week jugglering, glad to hear your girlies have been cheering you up, what a great tonic cats are, our two are being superglue cats as we've been on hols and they've come back from the cattery, margo is hardly leaving her dads side and cupar keeps popping outside and rushing back in with a loud mieow to check we're still here and not gone and left him again, he keeps squeezing himself next to me on the sofa, going for a small space so i'll move.....lol.xx
