Good anti-perspirants

Can anyone reccomend any anti-perspirants that are good? I haven't been impressed with any that I've tried so far. I don't sweat excessively but I haven't found an anti-perspirant yet that is truly effective.

The Mitchum range is very good.

Most people find the usual ones (Sure, Dove, own brands etc) fine or ok in the cooler weather. Some people use a slightly stronger one - like Mitchum. However, a few people (me included in the summer months) need something much stronger like Driclor or Linden Voss *Triple Dry* (I find this latter one doesn't sting) - it's applied at night btw....

Well I don't think any of them work either, but have just bought Dove's new Go Fresh energising Grapefruit and Lemongrass Antiperspirant/Deodorant. It smells lovely at least.

Thanks for the information. Where can I buy Mitchum from? Is it sold in most shops like Boots and Superdrug?

Yes, it's definitely sold in Boots and Sainsbury's, not sure about Superdrug.

I use the new dove range too and have the white and green bottle. Seems pretty good.

I've tried Mitchum, but it didn't work for me and I didn't like the powdery fragrance. I also tried Driclor, which you are supposed to use at night, every other day, that didn't help either. But could work for you smartie.

Awwww poor Velvetee..... I know how you feel ! I suffered for years until I came across Driclor which sort of worked for me - it did take a while to be effective though but I found it really stung my skin so it was a toss up between stinging skin or a rash there due to excessive sweat.... then my GP mentioned Linden Voss ..... result ! no sting, no wetness, no rash ...

I've used Mitchum for years and it is the only one that works for me. Tend to buy the unfragranced rather than the Powderfresh. Also the normal roll on is better than the spray or solid stick

Pit is very good,it's crystal salt ,it doesn't contain aluminium, which in itself is a good thing and it works, a bit pricey but it lasts about twelve months.

Mitchum's good for me, either stick or roll-on. (You can get a gel version abroad which is also good.) It claims to be good enough to last two days and this seems to be true though fortunately I've seldom had to put it to the test.

I dont know about the makes you guys are talking about but I have used most and I find the dove ones are the best, I use the dove original shower wash and the same type of spray too, in the blue and white, and they are lovely they leave my skin smellling very clean and moisturised too.
