Someone a little while ago suggested i ask you your opinion on Birmingham and the nice/good areas to live and the places to stay clear off??

dont go near ASTON,LOZZELS,NEWTOWN, Bad,Bad,Bad......and before anyone asks I have lived in all three,
Go to the south side Kings Heath,Maypole,Solihull,etc

Solihull, parts of Northfield - but keep well away from Handsworth and Hockley!

a few better places to live are

Harborne
quinton
kings heath
selly park
sutton coldfield
great barr
edgbaston
halesowen (technically in the black country)
solihull
elmdon
bournville (the land of chocolate :D )
kings norton
wilde green
longbridge
northfield (high street is a bit of a chav town)
cotteridge
selly oak (not bad area's but lot of lets due to university)
