Have a look at this it says best time to view them is from 2am onwards.
Not seen a thing as it's chucking it down here.

Oooh, I'll have to set the alarm so that it wakes my daughter up and then the wife can wake up and then she can wake me up to see it.

Do we have to look in a particular direction?
