torque settings

i was wondering if any1 could tell me the torque settings for the head bolts on a 1999 renault laguna 1.9 dti

Hi, quick way contact a Renualt garage ask to speak to a Mechanic they should give you the correct sertting.

2 different engines 1.9 dci & dti both the same got it out of autodata

digaram of bolts 8 - 4 - 1 - 5 - 9
top of head
7 - 3 - 2 - 6 - 10

1) 30 nm
2) 100+/- 4 degrees
3) wait for 3 mins
4) 1 + 2 = slack off +25nm + 213+/-7 degrees
5) 3 + 4 " " " " " " " " " " "
6) 5 + 6 " " " " " " " " " " "
7) 7 + 8 " " " " " " " " "
8) 9 + 10 " " " " " " " " " "

bit confusing i know but thats what it says so best of look

the bolts diagram has gone a bit out of sink but if you imagine all the numbers should line up like the top of the cylinder head if you are familiar with this job you will know what i mean

make sure you fit new head bolts as they are stretch bolts about 8-10 pounds each.
