Bit tongue a while back - ulcer wont go !
4 Answers
Hi. A while back, perhaps 2 years or so, i bit the end of my tongue and apart from swearing obscenitiesm, it left a small "split pea" size lump (ulcer??) on the tip of my tongue. It didn't bother me for a while (was still there, but wasn't a problem), until i did the exact same thing again last Monday ! - just as the lump was getting smaller !
Because the lump is still there when i'm eating i sometimes catch it, which means it's never going to go away. I have tried putting bonjella on it, salt etc but i want something to dry it up (or whatever you call it!).
Any suggestions of what i can put on it to help it ?
It's a little lump the size of half a pea (maybe about 3 mm) right on the tip of my tongue !
Best Regards,
Andy

I would suggest doing a salt rinse with warm water after every meal, something else you could try is oral B mouthwash, its for many things including usage after surgery in the mouth (tooth extractions etc) The blue one is better than the red, its a miracle worker I tell ya!
