Langley Mill, Derbyshire

I'm looking at the local history of Langley Mill. I have so many questions (which are growing by the day). A starter for ten: Does anyone know the history of the New Inn, on the Vic Hallam site, next to the Langley Mill canal wharf. When was it built, and when did it close? When was the wharf itself filled in?

I suggest you visit the library nearest to the Langley Mill there is a higher then average chance they will have some information or they might at least be able to point you in the direction of the local historian.
