Is anyone familiar with Sofia. If so could you recommend the best area to stay, i.e Bars. Resturants, Atmosphere etc. Any help would be appreciated.

only went on a day trip so i cannot help with your original question

but a word of warning watch out for the Gypsy kids they will steel any thing that they can get their hands on

including the food of your plate no kidding
if they get to close threaten to kick them
i know this sounds cruel but if you want to keep your possessions threaten them .this is just a way of life to them
