Octaviuis and Whiffey et al repeately claim that Legend is basically irrelevant,boring,tedious etc etc,

Why therefore do they spend most of their afternoons chasing him around a website?

I was taught that if you dislike someone or if you find them unappealing you try as much as possible to ignore them unless they confront you.

Otherwise if you obsess there may be a hint of latent jealously or at least the suspicion of it.

I also notice that Legend feeds off the attention and this makes one wonder who really is pulling the strings.
