im only in my early 30s but at the temple and round the hair line i am white im to embarressed to go to the hairdressers i want to dye it at home before i get it cut what is a good dye and the best way to cover stubborn grey

dont be embarressed about gray hairs ....lots of people get them young ....im 36 and i have some ....:(

Any permanent dye should cover grey hair, most of them say so on the box.

Salons have clients like you all day.....nothing to be embarrassed about and don't mess up with DIY coloring unless u know what your doing.

One of my girlfirends at work is only 24 and she has some grey hair. She hates it and it's very noticeable because she's got very dark, almost black hair.

Cheeky is right - most hair colourants now cover grey and they're really easy to use too. Try not to be embarrassed. Have a word with your hairdresser. Maybe some well placed highlights would do it instead of a whole head colourant which then leads to the 'root regrowth' problem.

There's absolutely nothing to be embarressed about, I found my first grey hair at the age of 18. I started colouring my hair myself when I was about 30, but it didn't look very natural. I have been going to the hairdressers to have my hair coloured since my mid 30's, and I bet I was a lot greyer than you, I have two mallen streaks, aswell as the 'salt and peppering'.

For some reason most men look ridiculous with dyed hair, always obvious and unnatural. Maybe because it is done at home.

Would advise going to hairdresser anyway as may only need to have a touch of colour on a small section (T section) of your hair.

30s is the usual age to be going grey. It's nothing to be embarrassed about. I started getting grey hairs in my 20s, but it never occured to me to be embarrassed about it. Hairdressers will do a better job than you could do with a home kit.
