Instead of buying a huge Tv I could save a bit of cash if I could buy a projector to use as a Tv like pubs do, is this possible and would I be able to hook up my DVD player and Games console to it too.

Thanks for any help :)

Yes - you would also need to hook it to a tv source such as a virgin or sky box.

Bear in mind that replacement projector bulbs can cost hundreds of pounds.
I love watching mine in bed ... the background of thomas the tank and budgie the helicopter make the news look so much better.

given that a projector and screen cost as much as a telly ... I'd get a telly anyday ... and my telly doesn't have a fan that keeps kicking in, I can see the screen when the curtains are back and auntie nellie doesn't keep doing bunny ears when jeremy paxman comes on

it's a personal thing .... but I use one at work ... I wouldn't use one at home by choice
I was thinking of buying a projector for the novel value but like kempie said replacement bulb costs more than the projector itself. I reckon you'll be better off buying a 50" LCD TV
