Tequila slammer

Can anyone tell me whats in it please? I know you do something with salt but last time i had one i was ratted so i can`t remember.

When I last did it it was ginger ale. Add the ginger ale VERY slowly. Lick the back of your hand and pour the salt on.

lick the salt off your hand, slam the glass, swig it down and then the lemon.

It's disgusting - don't know why we bother! lol

2 different drinks (or methods of drinking one drink I should say!)

tequila slammer you mix 50/50 with a fizzy drink of your choice in a sturdy glass with plenty of space left after you add the drink. You then place your hand over the top of the glass and slam it down on the bar/table hard then drink as fast as possible. (you can use champagne as the fizzy drink if you really want to bet hammered!!)

Tequila shots are often done with salt and lemon, then as above says you pour a little salt onto the back of your hand lick the salt, knock back a neat shot of tequila and then suck the lemon.

But I'd recommend staying away from tequila all together!!! dangerous drink, I've done many stupid things and have suffered many injuries due to it!!

Enjoy the BBQ, tequila shots is the mexican way of doing it but make sure you get a decent bottle of tequila, and if it has a worm in it remember your meant to eat the worm when the bottles finished.

Apparently I have eaten the worm.. Don't remember doing it though!!
