ive always wondered this...why is it in magazines, newspapers, tv etc, why is it that when they cover up the nipples on a womans boobs - its supposed to make the picture appear "less rude". No matter how big the boobs - covered nipple = acceptable to be shown and is almost acceptable as most people dont see it as porn - until the nipple is shown! i find this quiet funny to be honest! but why is this?
Dont know why? but I find it irritating, I was in my local somerfields one day and I noticed young children looking through a lads mag, (the parents were busy puttin shopping in the bags) not a full on porno one but it had naked women inside, the kids looking at it were only about 4/5 but they were placed on a shelf low enough for kiddies to see and reach....which I think is totally wrong
But lil75, the Sport is a newspaper full of naked women, you can hardly put that on the top shelf can you? The magazine they give away on Sunday is not far from a porn mag.
Also the Sun and the Star both have page 3 girls with their boobs out, all withing reach of any child that wants to have a look!
dannyday I think the same as you, what difference does it make by covering the nipples? The boobs are on display anyway, I can't see the point in covering that one little bit!
Just as an erect penis indicates sexual arousal, the same can be said for nipples.
And custom. British women whilst in Britain may walk round with jeans hanging from the pubic bone, and very low cropped tops, but as a rule the nipple is kept covered.
I agree with Lil, and I have been in my local Tesco Metro (little Tesco!) and still seen all the "mens" mags out, in full view of children to see... not on the "top shelf" where they should be
