thanks Doc.

well fishyredhead, as a man he stands head and shoulders above you and ya know what, even if he did become a dustbin man, i would still be proud!!! Just like your mummy is probably proud of you! shame she didnt teach you that if you have nothing nice to say, then dont bother saying it at all, now go and complain about death threats or some other such drivel elsewhere again you crushing bore!!!!

He is actually taking a sports course , just not quite the one he wanted until he does another year.

thanks helliebobs, he only missed one grade for the course he wanted so its not the end of the world.
I'm sure you're incredibly proud!

I didn't do so well with my exams, which was my own fault as I was more interested in my ice skating practice and my mates than I was studying for exams LOL.

It didn't hinder me in the long run though, I'm in a good job that pays well and my employer is paying for my Open Uni BA (Hons).

It all works out :o) x
my son has just got his results for 4 GCSe's a year early - 3 a's (science, maths and stats) and one a* (RE). he was predicted b's so is understandably chuffed - as are me and his dad! only downside is i promised him 20 for every a* and a tenner for each a (now 50 out of pocket!!!). next year i think i will be very poor as he is taking another 12 gcse's...
Just be proud that you have obviously brought up a son you're obviously proud of and he's lucky to have a fab mum like you obiously are.
He'll be happy and do well whatever he chooses and thats down to you as a mum -so congrats to you !!
congratulations to your son.

i'd just like to say i got mostly C's (and a couple of B's) for my GCSE's.......... A few years late though I graduated from Uni with a 1st class honours degree....

don't let his grades hold him back
