No best answer has yet been selected by sicknote. Once a best answer has been selected, it will be shown here.
For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.You will need to carry out pre-exchange enquiries. This will involve, amobg others, obtaining the Office Copies for the building from the Land Registry, this can now be done online at landregistry.gov.uk
If the building is not registered then you will need to enquire with the owners and get them to send the title history. This will contain any restrictions, or covenants, incumbent on the property.
You will also need to carry out a local search of the local authority, this will highlight any planning restrictions.
office Copies cost 4, local searches are about 120.
