I just paid 100's of for a stoves washer/dryer and I cannot use it as I want it. In the manual it tells you you can change the cycle any time you wish but I found out it is not possible. In order to save electric and water I do many a times my washing by hand. To save me wringing the washing as I have rheumatics in my wrists, I want to use the fast spin (1600) only. Has anyone else got this machine and can help. It is the model WD16V washer/dryer 1600 spin. I have been in touch with stoves and they are not very helpful. The girls who answer the phone seem to have no idea and I feel I am wasting my money on 0871 calls. They just tell me"it's in the manual"
I can't find the user manual online, which means I am no help whatsoever to you.
Is there a cycle or programme guide in your manual?
I'm not trying to fob you off but to save water and electricity it is probably more efficient to do a full load in the washing machine than hand wash several times a week.
If it is still under warranty then contact the place you bought it from and say it is not working as it should be. If they tell you to contact the manufacturer point out that the contract is with them and you want them to sort it out. They have to by law.
If they ask you what is wrong just say that it 'has several faults' and the manual does not help and that it is too difficult to explain.
If someone comes out to mend it and says that it is perfectly OK then you can ask them to explain things to you and get them to demonstrate.
It's a way of getting them to come out and they won't charge you!
