7 month old!!

I have a 7 month old and the last 3-4 nights he's been waking up around 2am which is unusual for him. I just found out I'm prenant again yesterday (whoop whoop!), do you think he knew before me??!! Can they sense things like that??

are you breatsfeeding him? Ive heard that breastmilk can alter in taste when pregnant.

If it did taste different or you werent producing as much he may wake up.

Or it is just teething or a growth spurt making him wake.

No, I'm not breastfeeding unfortunately. He is teething but when he wakes up he just lying there talking to himself in baby language and banging his dummy on the side of the cot!!
Probably just me being too suspicious!

who knows what the little ones are able to pick up on, you could be right but there would be no way of telling. Its a shame really, it would be wonderful to know just what they are thinking or know at that age wouldnt it.

There are many reasons why they wake up again after being in routines. How far are you with weaning? Could it be that he needs extra food?

mind you, if hes happy when he wakes then just leave him to settle on his own, much better than a screaming baby at 2am lol

Is he in his own room? could there be something that wakes him up at that time? neighbours on shift work or something?

I dont know how you found the energy or inclination to plan another so soon lol, mine are 3yrs and 4mths and i think at times thats too close! maybe its my age and i just cant keep up lol

hmm, i'm not an expert, but even if your 7 month old did sense that you were pregnant (which sounds unlikely to me) why would that mean he wakes up at 2 am? Sorry i just can't see the link!

The reason why is that he's gonna have to share mum and dad!
Babies are cleverer than we think!!
Yes we were trying, want them as close as we can really!! Hard work but worth it when they're older!!
