Met up with little Emma yesterday and we had a lovely walk with Pickles.

She is fine and loved spending some time here after her walk. My friend says that since she stayed with us, she now sits in the lounge with them every night!

So at least she is fine and I have offered to have her here in the future if they give me plenty of notice.

Also wanted to say thank you to all the people who replied to me before about Emma - it did help and make things easier.

Hope you all have a lovely day with whatever animals you own!!

Thank you both!!

As I said above I really did appreciate all your support. Emma's breath is still dreadful but she is such a sweetie.

Hope you have a great bank holiday too x
Hi Sal and Pickles,

Thank you so much for updating us. It's nice to know that Emma is so well and happy.

Where did she sit in the evenings before? I can't imagine not having my dogs and cat around me and taking up all the available seating so that we have to squeeze into any available space or sit on the floor.

You have made a difference to that dog's life and I agree wholeheartedly with Gelda - there should be more people like you in this world.

Best wishes

Hi all!

Lottie - Emma used to sit in the kitchen alone after their other dog was put down a few weeks ago - dear me, I have made us all sad again! She sits with them now and as you say I cannot imagine not having Pickles snuggled up with me at every opportunity!! x

Thank you alfieblue & naughty pup x

Hi Brenda - yes Turkey was lovely but SO hot!! Emma did go back home the 2nd week but I met the neighbour and pleaded to his good side to spend as much time with Emma as possible. I also gave Emme Pickles' cushion to keep so that she had some familiar smells with her! x

Sally, you are a real gem - so thoughtful and kind.

Glad you had a good holiday! Turkey in August - phew. You were very brave!! xx

Not only did I survive well into the 100's every day (in the shade) but I also shared a room with my 78 year old mother who snores and is very deaf - bless her!!!!!!!!
