Compensation for tenants

Does anyone know what the daily rate of compensation is for a landlord to pay their tenant, if the tenant is unable to use something in the property?

The sink in the bathroom of my tenant's flat is leaking, so she has been unable to use it for a week. My contractor is working elsewhere and won't be able to carry out repairs until next week. This means she will have been unable to use the sink for 2 weeks.

I did have compensation guidelines from the Lettings Agent, but have since lost the details and I'm too lazy to find their number to ask them to e mail it to me again.

Not being funny, but has your tenant actually asked for compensation? Presumably, the kitchen has a sink, so I think it's a bit cheeky if she has, as all she will really be losing is a basin to wash her face, hands and teeth, and she could use the kitchen sink or bath/shower water supply for all of these if she can;t be bothered to walk to the kitchen!
Would understand the need for compensation if living conditions had been seriously impaired (e.g. no water at all for two weeks), or if there was a serious defect, but maybe just a bottle or basket of something and apology for the very slight delay would be enough?

Thanks Whisky you are right, she hasn't asked for anything, so I'm being far too nice, no point making a rod for my own back.
