I have been taking simvastin tablets for the last 3 months and seem to have put on weight. Can you tell me if these tables do put on weight.

No, it's not a known side effect

tables ??? only if you eat them. Sorry mc.. cant`t resist it. But Simvastatins are to lower the Cholestrol in your body.
