Not sure if this counts as it was a spoof of Agatha Christie's Ten Little Indians (or Ten lIttle ******* to use the original un-PC title) but Something's Afoot by James McDonald, David Vos & Robert Gerlach had the butler do it (despite him being the first character to seemingly get bumped off...)
