Ladies- 80/20 rule?

How many of you think the statement that we wear 20% of the clothes in our wardrobes 80% of the time?
I think it's pretty close to the truth xx

Absolutely the truth. I have a whole wardrobe of clothes in the spare room that I probably look near now and again and my holiday clothes are consigned to the loft again! Yes I would say that's a fair statement.

True and they say if you have not worn something in the last 6 months, you're never gonna wear it and may as well chuck it out!!!

Throw it out??? Oh no funnygirl, i never do that!! (mind you, i live in a bungalow + gotta admit the hall ceiling is sagging a bit from all the stuff in the loft)

I completely agree with you! I took a very big suitcase of clothes on holiday but ended up not wearing half of it! I washed out tops and shorts and actually gave quite a lot of stuff to a charity shop whilst there!

Same at home, I have had a major clearout of 'work' clothes (thats work as in office and not as in....erm...you know LOL), and put out loads of clothes, some still had the labels *blush*

LOL hays! Doubt if this applies to you cos you're young + trendy (see? even that word dates me!), but if you donate M+S clothes to Oxfam, they give you a �5 voucher (to spend in M+S, obviously) xx

This true. I unpack the winter/summer boxes year after year and hang up stuff I have not worn in ages. And back it goes in the box it goes.

Tee hee. We had one hot day a couple of weeks ago, so I washed + ironed 2 pairs of white linen trousers coz they were looking a bit yellow from their time in the "winter wardrobe". They still haven't been worn :-)

I clear stuff out a couple of times a year but I've noticed that every time I have a clear out I find myself looking for something that I've just got rid of within the week. lol

You girls are so organised, putting out-of-season stuff away and everything!!! lol
I have everything in 2 wardrobes (had to buy a spare one as the landlord only provided one.....*blush*), and I probably do wear about 20% of it everyday, true! lol
I cannot bear to throw stuff away though. For me to put it in the bin, it really has to have 1/ A visible hole that's not conceilable 2/ be at least 4 sizes too small and 3/ be some bit of forgotten-behind male clothing! LMAO!
Mind you, I still wear a t shirt my ex bf left at night!
And don't get me started on shoes!

It was lovely, Polish food is GOOD!!! lol I met his gf too, and she doesn't have horns and a tail or anything.
