Hairstraightners Abroad
I'm going to the Dominican Republic in October this year. I NEED to use hairstraigteners. My hair is very frizzy and wavy without and we are going to a wedding over there. I use hair tools and the moment but are on their way out. I need straightners that will DEFINATLY work over there. Anyone have any ideas, please?

You will need straightners that will operate at 110V and have the correct plug attachment.
As to whether any particular model of straightner will work as well in the Caribbean as it does here I couldnt say.

Just take an adapter. You can buy an adapter stack, which will have a variety of different ones for various countries.
When I went to the Caribbean, the sockets were the same as UK, but not sure about the Dominican Republic.
If you're worried, take one of those Braun Independent stylers with the gas tube.
