I was about halfway through the job when it started to rain a bit,so, I thought I would plod on with my petrol driven mower. It conked out once, because the grass was so long and a bit wet, that the grass had stopped the blades going round. But, I managed to get it started again, and finished the job just as it started to rain once more.
I had to rake all the lumpy bits of grass up after.
Wouldn't it be nice if it would rain during the night instead?

There has been a worldwide shortage of wheat for over ay year - the news has been full of it. This is caused by several things including:
Severe drought in main wheat growing countries such as Eukraine, Canada and Australia which caused many many tons of wheat to fail.
Many traditional wheat growers, who grow many hundreds of tons of wheat each have stopped growing the crop as it is much more lucrative to grow bio-fuel crops for the western world.
The current soggy condiitons in the UK is adding to the problems.
Shortage pushes prices up.
Early this year there were demonstrations against the high cost of food in many countries, including France and Spain.
