Unfortunately 'kids' as you put it don't seem to see the danger, until it is too late. I saw a programme recently where this 19 year old guys drink was spiked with ecstasy - poor soul ended up having a stroke and his life is ruined. Those B@stards who did that to him should be locked up for life, as shoud those who sell drugs.
You see this is where the government should take responsibility. The drugs that people take, regardless of whether it is legal or not, are generally dangerously made, the doses are variable and the pills can be contaminated even unintenionally. The gov. will NEVER stop drugs being used, they should have the courage to step up to the plate and regulate them. The cost of doing so would be minimal compared to the cost of shattered lives and the cost to society that drugs related crime creates. Perhaps you daughters friend would be alive today if the government acted in the interest of society instead of political correctness and the need to sustain their positions.
