My experience is that if you wish to withold your details, you may. It wasn't an issue. They still got convictions as it was the lead they were looking for.

I would prefer to send them an email with all the information in, but they demand there that you give all your personal details. Is there any way of sending an email without giving out your name and address?

If I were you, Luckyman, I would phone from a phone box right out in the middle of nowhere, where there are no CCTVs around.
