Living a medieval life in Wales or Borders programme

Hope someone has a better memory than my other half. He is trying to remember the name of a series that followed people over the space of a year, trying to live off the land.

They were trying to do this entirely without the use of modern methods.

He is hoping to get enough details to see if a DVD.

He thinks it was shown on the BBC and was several years ago now!

The only programmer I can think is 'Tales from the Green Valley' which was recreating a farming year from the 1620s. You can get the series on DVD and a book (it might be a bit academic and I haven't read it).
