Windows update

When i try to access this on the tools menu it says I need active x .


I cant find this , how do I update windows.

Where can I get this active X thing.

A bar should open at the top of your screen below your other tool bars & have 'options' on the right which will drop down when selected . Select 'allow active x ' that should do it .

Thanks Billy, it doesnt seem to do that.

Go to tools > internet options click security tab & check that the security level for internet is set to medium high .

Found it in the manage add ons bit.

The active x was disabled. clever me, Thanks for help, seems ok now and updating.
