Hi not sure if im in the right section but i jst wanted to ask some advice if anyone can help........having lost two babies & having a significant amount of time off work this year due to this, my partner and i are considering trying again, we jst wondered though if this will affect any future maternity leave (if all goes well)? I know because my time off has been pregnancy/miscarriage related it cant be held against me for disciplinary absence from work procedures although i have been put onto half pay until i return. I wrk for the NHS - not that that makes a difference i shldnt think !? Thanks for any help in advance!

your maternity pay is calculated on the previous 6 weeks wages prior to you taking leave i think.

so no, i shouldnt affect you entitlement if you return on full pay.
