We have been away for about 5 days and on our return have found well over 10 seperate webs with massive garden spiders in the middle!
Is this because we haven't been about in the garden although someone has been coming twice a day to feed our pets or has there been any reports of there being more this year due to the weather we have been having? Or do they tend to be in amongst the bushes so not easily seen?
I know they are common and I have seen them numerous amount of times before just not this many all at the same time spread out over our garden!!
Any other Aber's noticed more in their garden this year?

lucky spiders penractor! :o) It's a shame that many people think they should rid their gardens of them. I had to lift a watering can up & over a large web last night to get at one of my tubs. Like you, I couldn't bear to break it either, it had some 'supper' caught in it! :o)
