Help with Waterman family

Hi I know that Thomas Waterman married Sarah Jane Spencer in Winchester 1903. Also from marriage certificate I know that he was born 1873 and that his Father was Thomas (deceased).
However I cannot find either Thomas's on census, Any ideas please.
Also found Thomas Waterman marriage Andover 1872 to Sarah Ann Smith which I thought could be his parents !!! Please help.

What was the occuption of both Thomas's on the marriage cert?

You can't just assume that the marriage you found is for his parents - it may well be but then again it may not. You could find yourself tracing the wrong family.

Hi CheekyChops, thanks for your answer. Thomas Sen was a gardener and Thomas Jn was a bricklayers labourer. I will not follow the parent link until I am sure !
