I am not a wealthy man but things I have always insisted on on is having a decent watch, a decent car and not eating cheap watery ham.
Regarding such ostentations as mobile phones, plasma TV's, make of washing powder and fashion I couldn't give two hoots.
Now I do not know what Roman's ham habits are like but watching him today on Sky, he arrived at Stamford Bridge in a Ford Galaxy and appeared to be wearing a cheap Casio digital watch from Argos.
Considering this man has more money than God, I find it a little odd.
So if you became wealthy beyond all means (remember a lottery win is peanuts to Roman) what could you happily not be worried about to mark your new found social status? Clearly Roman isn't bothered by watches and motors.

Cars and watches obviously don't do it for Roman - but maybe he was wearing an Armani suit? Then again - maybe part of the reason he's got as much as he has is that he really doesn't need to prove he's got it by spalshing out on trinkets.
And if I won the lottery I wouldn't need anything to 'mark' my new foundstatus. My status is good as it is with everything that's important. I'd just be able to give up work and spend a lot more time with my family.

I'm perfectly happy in high street clothes, don't care if my jeans/ shoes are a certain label as long as they look and feel good and can't see that i would suddenly feel the need to spend thousands of pounds on a single item of clothing just so I could say I was wearing this seasons Versace. I would probably buy the same kind of stuff I do now - just a lot more of it!
Apart from Mikimoto pearls and a vintage pre war Rolex ( it is a thing of dainty beauty) have already in possesion. I would be 'bling-less' . Phones not bothered. Designer- schminer have you seen some of them on a day out.
Romans Galaxy possibly a little 'safer' than standard as we have seen the box security up close and personal - they're very nice men!
