Non slip mat for kitchen worktop

I'm looking for help in finding a non slip mat for use on kitchen worktops so that my mother, who currently has one wrist in plaster, can take a casserole or whatever from the oven and plate up her meal without danger of the dish slipping. I'd be most grateful for any ideas anyone has as I can't always be there to get food for her. Thanks in advance, fran b.

if you have the type of shop which sells aids for disabled people near you, they will have what you're looking for. sometimes they have the individual mats and sometimes you can buy a piece of material cut off a roll in the size you want.

Try asdas they have a section wioth a lot of jml stuff and usually have something like that .

Wilkinsons sell this sort of stuff on a roll , about 99p and its really good
