I've just watched the "Oreo" advert, with the little boy eating a biscuit.

In my day, the dog would have had that biscuit out of his hand. before it reached his mouth.

my dog would probably have the biscuit and that boys arm, head and shoulder in his mouth for taunting him like that.........and its only a yorkshire terrier! hahaha!
My bull terriers ALWAYS sit there wanting biscuits, but they've been trained to be "good".
I had family come for breakfast last week. They had 2 boys, one aged 9 and one aged 14. They both took a fresh marrow bone out of my dog's mouth as he was gnawing on it. He's a 14 stone, 14 month old English Mastiff and he just let them do it. They were strangers to him, he hadn't met them before. Soft or what?
Max watches you eating a goodie, while giving you the "look" that says I just love those but he would never make a move without encouragement
My dog knows who's the softy in our house- she'll sit underneath my little one at the table and snaffle the dropped bits before they hit the ground and she'll think nothing of snatching it from her hands given the chance- however she's never got beyond the drooling 'please give me some of that' look with both myself and my hubby.
The dogs of today eh! Not like it were in my day. May i suggest sending the dogs away to national service or bringing back the death penalty! As i said, not like it were in my day!
