i have dead tracks inside my cherry tree leaves but cannot see any insect what could be the cause

These white lines (it thats what they are) are caused by a tiny grug that feeds from the inside of the leaf and are called leaf miners. They are found on Chrysanthemums and other plants but I know no cure for them other than the thumb and finger treatment. squilch.
