You can get an electronic visa from Thompson's travel agents. Cost a tenner last time I did it. If you're flying with BA they will do it for you over the phone.

This will give you all the info you need: http://www.immi.gov.au/ You can get your holiday visa for about �15 I think, usually from where you buy your tickets ( its electronic), and you can now apply for your 1 yr work visa online at the above address.
