shoe insoles
2 Answers
I've been visiting a podiatrist for 6weeks now because of feet problems mainly fallen arches. On my 2nd visit they took a casting to make some special insoles to relieve any pressure on the feet. Has anyone had anything similar and if so how did you find them, as the podiatris seems to think they are wonderful things.

Stevie, my son had these when he was 16.they helped straightaway,his feet used to hurt so much and he couldnt walk very far.They gave him so much relief he said.With being 16 and still at school i didnt have to pay but saying that i would of paid for them myself. He had two lots of these because he went up a shoe size.Hes fine now after wearing them in his shoes for about six months. Good luck in your quest for foot pain relief.{ my son is twenty now and his feet are pain free.}
I have had flexible arch support insoles made at a private podiatrists, I have had them about 2 weeks. They are due to fallen arches/flexible flat feet. It has been a nightmare finding shoes to fit them, I found a pair of ecco flat shoes which look like a cross between a traditional lace up shoe and trainers. They fit but are not that comfortable and I have found since I have been wearing them I am getting pain in my calves and hips instead of my feet however I think this may be because I am 3 stone overweight (which caused the problem) and will go away once I go back to my normal weight.
bottom line: they help but they're not magic
