  Is there a company that buys pensions.Can I sell them an old company scheme and do they give good deals???

I don't believe there are companies that buy pension schemes, although there are companies that buy endowment policies.  There was an article in today's Times (London, England) about this.  I did not read it in full, but I did notice something:  it says if somebody wants to buy it, then it is probably worth you keeping it.
You can get the money direct from the pensions company, you will get a pityfull amount however.
No, you cannot sell your pension. If you are age 50 or over (age 55 after 6 April 2006), you may be able to take benefits from the pension depending on the type of pension. If you think you can take benefits, ring the pension company and ask for details of benefits. If you want more detailed answers. visit a site like www.fool.co.uk where you can get detailed answers to your questions depending on your circumstances etc. Pension rules are a can of worms.
