to clean out those drawers and cupboards which seem full of nothing but rubbish?

Errr...generally only when I'm moving house! lol I'm one of those annoying people who can't seem to throw anything away! I've got drawers full of bits of string, empty coffee jars, rubber bands, bubble wrap...And I keep ALL my shopping bags! lol Well, they're handy for emptying the litter tray.....

I love a bit of spring cleaning any time of the year. clear out the junk make room for new stuff that will be junk next year!
i love to do it as there is worse jobs that get put off.

I'm afraid i'm like max here. Got all manner of things tucked away in drawers - and the rubber bands made me laugh because I've got loads of them lying around as well - AND paperclips, old pen tops, spare buttons......you name it.

Think I need to be as self disciplined as you, Leapers!

yeah i like to keep lots of bits and pieces that are useless buti limit them to a year unless they want to start paying rent, if i dont use them in a year then i probably never will so i chuck it out

I get the urge everytime I am rooting through a drawer trying to find something that I know is in there.

I very rarely do it though. I will pick something up and thing 'Well, I might need that one day...' even though I've not needed whatever it is in the last 5 years!

Lol! I wish I could be so mercinary, but I'll take some of the old rubbish out, and then think that it might come on handy one day - and put it back again. Meanwhile, the cupboards and drawers get forever worse!!

I do the same as cheekychops but have you noticed that as soon as you do throw anything away you'll have found a use for it the very next day!!!!!!?

Awww...but that's what kids do, wizard - and you're lucky they put their bits and bobs in a drawer! Mine leave blue tac all over the place, plasticine blobs, tubs of slime without their tops on, used paintbrushes on the kitchen floor.....wonderful! : )
