Who else sobbed when the guy with the dead wife auditioned on X Factor? I did and my boyfriend, who hates shows like X Factor just laughed at me.

I thought it was really emotional. Did you?

I must admit to having a wee tear yes, it was emotional - plus the guy was pretty cute...did u see the size of his arms!!!!! OMG :-)
My wife cried, and I did too....with laughter at her

Every week there`s one with a sob story

Face the facts, if he didn`t tell the story he wouldn`t have got through

Well, I personally thought he could do with shedding some weight, but each to their own. I hope he achieves some success from this, as he seems like a really nice person, who's had a really difficult time.

The first auditionee, had me in hysterics, with her confused Whitney Houston renditions, she looked a bit spaced out.
Got to be honest- I was wondering how did she manage to cry in such a pretty way though?

Yes it was in a pretty way, her big brown eyes just welled up and her eye makeup remained intact. Louis and Danni looked as though they were about to blub too.
they should stop people telling thier storys until after!

my wife cried!!................ so i kicked her!!!

(not really, she kicked me for laughing at her and calling her a daft bint?!!!
Danni only has one expression...Botox

They would have done those auditions a while ago....maybe that was round the time that Cheryl and her hubby were having problems?? only a thought....

Maybe that`s why Cheryl drools over every young black bloke on there

She should do a commercial for Jacobs Club

"If you like a lotta chocolate on ya biscuit join our club"

These shows are so artificial and derived I hate them.
The usual sob story coming on last to maintain an interest and more importantly to get the suckers phoning in to vote, thus lining the already bulging pockets of Mr.Cowell and his sychophants.
I have to suffer it because my nipper enjoys the show, my festering contempt is restrained by a desire to keep her contented.
X factor ?
Y bother factor ?
lol@elvis i agree surely wrinkles are better than stunned rabbit.my bf who is 5'11 and 18 stone cried bless him
I think it was last week we had some bloke waffling on for 10 minutes about his sob story, whatever it was (was born without a head, accidentally put his pet hamster in the spin dryer, has to walk on his hands because his mum doesn't want him to wear out his shoes, something like that) and then had the nerve to say "but I don't want to make a big thing out of it".

Er...well don't mention it, then.
littleoldme, there's been a LOT of stories in the news about that guy, apparently it was rubbish, then it wasn't...i haven't kept up. Simon Cowell reckons they're not phased by 'sob stories' but the truth is, some have got through that were no where near as good as some of the others that didn't. At the end of the day its who they (he, Simon) can make the most money out of!!

I thought that guy was good, but not amazingly so. No one's going to top Leona!!
I've just watched the x factor and I must say tears welled up in my eyes!!

Also I had to laugh at the incident with the 'Ashley' lookalike, as Simon says "you're looking at him like a dog looks at a tin of dog food!!!"

Lol.
Lucky guy - I would be pretty pleased if a babe like Cheryl Cole looked at me like that - talk about turning on the headlights!
