Fear of anything medical

A friend of mine (REALLY!) has an extreme fear of going to the doctor, having their blood pressure taken, going to hospital, talking about bones, medicines - basically anything medical or to do with the body.

Is there a specific name for their phobia? I've looked at a few on-line lists of phobias and can't find their one!

I think Latrophobia is the word you're looking for (though it sounds more like a phobia of toilets to me. Latrine, geddit?!) Groan.

As an aside, I work with doctors all the time... I'm terrified of them... very scary people !!

That's the fear of doctors - I'll tell her that's what she suffers from.

Thanks
