My son has got lots of small verrucae on his foot. Are the treatments you can buy from the chemist that freezes them any good (very expensive) or are there any other good treatments anyone can suggest. Thanks in advance

I ended up taking my daughter to the Doctors to have hers frozen as the over the counter one did not work, even after 4 applications.
The doctor said that they were too weak to kill off the wart virus. Take your son to the docs. It will cost you nothing.

I used Bazooka on my youngest son's verrucae. After 3 applications it came out when he was giving it a rub with the emery board provided. (I never got to see it because he announced he'd eaten it! Yuk!)
However, when my daughter had a verrucae nothing I bought would shift it and she had to have it removed by her GP.
One thing that concerns me is that you say your son has lots of them. Are you 100% sure they ARE veruucaes? I'd take him to the GP's just to be on the safe side.

My daughter had lots of small verruca's and after using bazooka for ages!!!! they still weren't disappearing. I took her to the doctors, and he said to just leave them and they would eventually go. It took a while (few months) but they have completely vanished and her feet look lovely!!
You can try the GP, in case they have some new treatments, but we found just leaving them alone did the trick. Good luck, I know how distressing it is for the child.

My daughter has 13 on one heel of one foot. She started out with 5 and they have re-infected themselves. We have tried EVERYTHING. We were even told that Duck tape contained and enzyme which gets rid of them.
At the moment we are using a cream from the Dr and they do seem to be going.
I have spent a fortune on potions, sprays and lotions (and duck tape).
