Could anyone give me an idea of pay levels I could expect in night shift jobs, and where it would be possible to get night shift jobs? All I can think of is 24hr supermakets and petrol stations... do petrol stations pay more than supermarkets? Does anyone know if there are restrictions on the amount of time you can work on night shifts? Could I still work a 40hr week on night shifts? Many Thanks

I don't think there are any laws differentiating nights from days. you might be able to find a job that will pay you for 4 X 10 hr shifts per week, or 5 X 8 hr shifts. Other jobs to recommend totally depend on what your skills are/qualifications/ interests etc. Secuirty guard, Call Centre work etc. Good luck.

Yes you can do a nightshift totalling 40hrs... more if you want.

I reckon supermarkets pay more than petrol stations, probably about 8 per hr approx.

You could work at your local hospital in various departments on night shifts - porter etc
