adult learner - gcse science asap

I want to sit a GCSE Science subject as a private candidate as soon as possible as having this qualification is a requirement for me applying for the PGCE Primary. The qualification I am seeking is in 'either' Biology, Chemistry or Physics. As I need to do the exam almost immediately I require the exam not to contain any coursework element. I therefore ask you to guide me to institutions/examining bodies who will be able to accomodate me in sitting a GCSE Science exam within the next few months? I would prefer to the venue for me sitting the exam to be in te North West of England, but if necessary to sit the exam sooner I would be prepared to travel.
