I'm like you, Tups, in celebrating the end of another series of BB. I don't watch it (and I've no desire to do so) but I get fed up with all the posts about it across many sections of AB.
However, I find it hard to avoid some of the media coverage which makes me laugh when they imply that people will become suicidal, homicidal (or whatever) simply because they have to spend a fairly short period of time with other people from different classes, or with different habits or different opinions. There are around 80,000 people in this country who share their lives (and their living accommodation) with people whom they may well hate, sometimes for many years at a time. The vast majority of people in prison don't commit suicide, attack their cellmates or burst into tears every five minutes just because someone hasn't taken their side in an argument. They've got far more sense (and emotional stability) than the shallow idiots who participate in BB.
