Emersion heater thermostat tripping out

I have changed the emersion heater thermostat as it was tripping out. At first it all worked fine but now the new stat is tripping out almost on a daily basis.

Hi Timnewberry
I am afraid that you will have to change the whole emmersion heater.
It is quite simple
turn off supply to cylinder ( usualy a gate valve red top) it is on the pipe that feeds the bottom of the cylinder, drain some water off if the emmersion heater is at the top and all the water if it is at the bottom. beg borrow or buy an emmersion heater spanner screw out the old one and replace by screwing in a new one, remember to fit washer turn on water let fill until it comes out bath tap, wire in, and there you have it .
The price of a complete new emersion heater should not be moore than �35
