Alstroemeria

I have a patch of alstroemeria which have now been in for 2 years.
The plants have thin floppy stems and they produce very few flowers. They are not currently earning their place in the border.
Will they improve with time? Or are they overcrowded[ there are a lot of stems] and need thinning? Would appreciate your thoughts.

This is my first attempt at sending a link so I hope you are as pleased as myself. Hope it helps. I have grown these with success for the past three years and they were free from a well known seeds catalogue because I made a complaint about some heathers they sent me.

Your link worked just fine shylock73. I have printed off the information and will 'cover up' for the winter. Think, if anything my soil maybe a might on the damp side and probably after a couple of years without disturbance, a little compacted.
However I shall reprieve them for a further year and maybe give them a good talking to !!
