divorce
I am looking to divorce my wife (living apart for about 8 months). Does anyone know if it is an option to divorce without stating adultery or listing horrible reasons against each other. We are still good friends and have two children together but things just fizzeled out.
Any help would be appreciated....
Many Thanks

Initially we decided to wait two years and then he decided he wanted it dealt with so I agreed with him that IF he agreed to split the costs with me and not apply for an adverse costs order he could claim adultery against me (I could have cited him for adultery, but it didn't matter, we both wanted the marriage ended and technically we were both guilty of adultery but there was no point in cross petitioning). It does not matter to the court these days. All they will be concerned with is making sure that arrangements for the children are sorted.
As there are children involved, you may wish to seek legal advice to get access formalised (although things are fine now, they can often break down when another partner comes on the scene). But please do NOT let your lawyer bully you into trying to make it nasty. Mine tried that, so she was promptly sacked.
